The ARS Floating Freezing Rack is designed to provide optimal cooling for up to fifty 0.5ml straws. The 3cm elevation over the liquid nitrogen is maintained during the entire freezing process so a digital thermocouple thermometer is no longer required.
A 24" x 16" x 17" foam cooling chest with a 2" wall is included. This box can fit two ARS Floating Freezing Racks at a time and is
ideally sized to allow loading freezing straws into goblets for storage.
A second ARS Floating Freezing Rack (FSR-101-LC) may be purchased at a $10 discount when ordering the Floating Straw Rack & Cooler Chest.
